Ideal, Colorado is the remnants of a once bustling mining town in Southern Colorado, near the towns of Walsenburg and La Veta. Born in 1909, this town had houses, a post office, a YMCA, a hotel, a school house, and several other buildings. The evidence PRISM captured while visiting Ideal has been some of the most eye-opening evidence yet. We are excited to present our findings. If you would like a deeper dive into Ideal's history, buildings, and remaining artifacts, you can find it here.
Prism Colorado has investigated at this incredible location two times now, and we are itching to get back. Please check out our evidence from both visits below!
